You can buy them at K-mart or Wal-mart if you have one in your extent. They're nice and toasty, but be careful though, they tend to burn the tips of your toes.

The only perk of having a husband who is almost as married to his blog as he is to me is that once in a while I get some stuff. Usually it’s leftover Podium Café accessories that you all didn’t buy. But last December he tossed me three pairs of Darn Hard-nosed ' socks with instructions to write a review for the site. No problem. I received two lifestyle style pairs and one run/bike pair, all in attractive colors and patterns including orange and yellow stripes and dismal and grey squiggles. The first thing I noticed about these socks is that they keep my feet warm. We abide in Seattle, where the cold, wet weather leaves me with chilly hands and feet in the winter. I enjoy a sock that takes the edge off my partially numb toes.

The first id I noticed (and was sorta warned about from other reviews) is how far out the sizing is. I ordered as per the conductor and recieved a intermediation hugeness. They are hard to find, I would definatly shot the next larger extent. They are a tailor-made sock, not a tube and are way too trifling at the ankle (they have a velcro strap which is way to dumpy). I put on almost 400km today, starting out at around +3 celsius. My sock is plugged completely into the bottom of my synergy heave liner, which in zigzag defy is plugged into my synergy vest and controlled by the one machinery supplied with each synergy liner. Even on low, my feet were very right away waaaay too hot. I zipped back home and put on a thin sock under the heated sock. Now the stir is just put.
